COVID-19 During Pregnancy Linked to Preterm Birth, Study Says

The study, published by UBC, is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The research involved 6,012 people with corona infection. Of the women involved in the study, 466 were hospitalized and 121 were admitted to the ICU. 35.7 percent of women were found to be pregnant between 18 and 37 weeks.
The risk of being admitted to the ICU depends on age and high blood pressure, scientists claim. However, they claim that the risk is lower for women who have been vaccinated against both corona viruses.
